Maria Carmelita M. Galvez-Vergara, MD

Dr. Maria Carmelita M. Galvez-Vergara graduated from the University of the East with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology. She is an alumna of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Santo Tomas where she earned her degree of Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Galvez-Vergara pursued further studies earning a Masteral on Child and Family Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University. She also completed the Business and Innovation Program from the University of California, Irvine and Masters in Business and Wellness from Miriam College.
She completed her Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology training at the Medical Skin Health Training Foundation Inc (MSHTFI) and Clinical Dermatology for Family Physicians at the National Skin Center-Singapore. She further completed her Cosmetic Surgery Training at Medics First in Clinica Manila and at the Pan Pacific Aesthetic Institute Foundation Inc. (PPAIFI).
She has attended various seminars locally and abroad, some of the most recent include the National Skin Center Convention in Singapore (2015), Dermatologic and Aesthetic Surgery International League (DASIL) Convention in Vietnam (2015), Workshop Fillers and Botulinum Toxin in Seoul Korea (2015), Draw Asia Botulinum Toxin (Dysport) Training in Bangkok, Thailand (2016), Mesoestetic Workshop in Barcelona, Spain (2017), and NEOSTRATA Workshop in New Jersey ,USA (2017).
Dr. Galvez-Vergara is a member of the Philippine Medical Association, Quezon City Medical Society, Philippine Academy of Family Physicians Inc., DASIL, World Society of Interdisciplinary Aesthetic and Anti-Aging Medicine (WOSIAM). She is a Diplomate of PAMS International, Fellow of the Pan Pacific Aesthetic Institute Foundation, Inc. (PPAIFI), and Associate Fellow of the Philippine Association of Aesthetic Surgery.
She is a Fellow of Philippine Association of Primary Skin Health Physician (PAPSHPI) and held several positions including former Treasurer, President, and Board of Director prior to being a current member of the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Maria Carmelita M. Galvez-Vergara is the owner and consultant of MGV Medical and Skin Clinic located at 7 M Angeles St. cor Sto Domingo St Bahay Toro, Quezon City and Vergara Building, Wawa Balagtas, Bulacan. She is a Primary and Aesthetic Skin Health Physician Consultant at Virgen de Salud Medical and a Cosmetic Surgery Consultant at Metro North Medical Center and Hospital.
